Police in Carmel warn of recent car break-ins

After a recent series of burglaries, Carmel police are warning people to lock their car doors.

They say electronic devices and cash were stolen from several unlocked cars in the South Lake and North Lake Boulevard neighborhoods.

The police also recommend removing the key fob from the car after 9 p.m., locking the car and house doors and turning on security lights or cameras if necessary.
