Street in Mastic Beach renamed after teenager killed 3 years ago

A Mastic Beach teenager killed three years ago was honored Friday with the renaming of a street.

Friends and family gathered to watch Bayview Avenue become Marcel Arrington Way.

Arrington was 18 when he was found shot to death outside his home on Bayview Drive.

The shooter has still not been caught.

The street was renamed on Arrington’s 21st birthday.
