Investigators find body in mobile home south of Kansas City

MIAMI COUNTY, Kansas – The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in which a man was found dead in a mobile home Thursday.

The sheriff’s office said it is working with the Carthage, Missouri, police in the investigation.

Investigators believe the man was killed in Miami County, Kansas, but his body was discovered yesterday in a mobile home in southwest Missouri.

According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, someone is currently in custody.
