Atlanta Falcons sign Andrew Stueber, release JaQuae Jackson

The Atlanta Falcons took another step toward fortifying the trenches yesterday, landing the New England Patriots’ 2022 7th round pick in offensive lineman Andrew Stueber off the waiver wire. Stueber spent all five years of his college career at Michigan, primarily as a right tackle. He projects more as a guard at the NFL level, perfect for the Falcons, who could use reliable depth on the interior, but he could also play the role of swing tackle.

Standing at nearly 6’7″ and weighing over 320 pounds, his large frame packs plenty of power and could make him an asset in the run-oriented offense the Falcons are likely to run under offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.

Along with the move, the Falcons let undrafted free agent wide receiver JaQuae Jackson leave Rutgers.
