2 Missouri men arrested after 45 pounds of marijuana found in South Side home, prosecutor says – WPXI

PITTSBURGH – Two Missouri men were arrested Wednesday by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Narcotics Enforcement Team and 45 pounds of marijuana were seized.

Officers and agents were conducting an independent controlled buy in the area when they observed suspected drug activity.

Prosecutor Zappala said officers stopped a car with a Michigan license plate after noticing traffic violations.

After obtaining permission to search the vehicle, officers found a small amount of marijuana and $60,560 in cash.

Andre Tucker and Jaylin Jackson, both of St. Louis, were in the car at the time. Zappala said both admitted they had just delivered a large amount of marijuana to Noah Rosoff-Verbit in exchange for the money.

Officers searched a home on Pittsburgh’s South Side and found a large quantity of drugs and paraphernalia, $11,298 in cash and a teller counter.

“This was clearly a major drug dealing operation,” said DA Zappala. “Fortunately we were not faced with more dangerous circumstances. I want to thank all of the law enforcement agencies who have made our community a safer place.”

Both Jackson and Tucker were arrested on drug charges. Zappala said charges have yet to be filed against Rosoff-Verbit.
