Angelina Jolie reflects on a “crazy” incident in her life

At a young age, Angelina Jolie suffered from such psychological problems that she decided to hire a contract killer and thus end her life.

Looking back on her dark phase, she said in previous interviews that she had suicidal thoughts at the age of 22, but was reluctant to do so because of her family.

So, as the Oscar winner recalled, she decided on another option: she hired a killer to do for her what she couldn’t and staged the whole thing like a robbery.

“This is going to sound crazy, but there was a time when I wanted to hire someone to kill me,” she said IMDB.

“They’re not that hard to find in New York. As crazy as it sounds, I think a lot of people think about suicide at a young age. I was very aware that if I took my own life, a lot of people around me, like my mother, would feel like they hadn’t given or done enough,” said the Lara Croft Actress continued Face magazine.

“My solution to this was that if someone else had taken my life, perhaps in a ‘robbery’, it would be murder and no one would feel like they had let me down,” the 49-year-old added.

However, Angelina was saved after the killer talked her out of it. “He was a pretty decent person and asked if I could think about it and call him again in two months. Something in my life changed and I thought I would hold on.”
