Two dead found in Pittsburgh-area swimming pool

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Two people were found dead in a pool in Pine Township on Thursday.

A news release from Allegheny County police said officers were called to a welfare check on Either Drive in Pine Township around 6 p.m. At the residence, emergency responders found two dead adult men in a pool.

The district police said a preliminary investigation had revealed no evidence of a crime.

The Allegheny County Coroner will determine the cause and manner of death. The identities of the two men have not yet been determined.

No further details were announced on Thursday.
