Govan is accused of hiring Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith to shoot Young Dolph in 2021.

Earlier this month, a judge set a trial date for Govan, Justin Johnson, Cornelius Smith and Jermarcus Johnson in September.

Jemarcus Johnson has already pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the crime.

Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith will appear in court on August 9 for a hearing on their motions, ahead of their scheduled trial date.

Govan is scheduled to appear in Southaven Municipal Court on June 26 on the alleged traffic violations and on August 20 on the stalking and harassment charges.
