Police said the shooting happened after 8 p.m. at an apartment complex on Palmetto Circle. They said the two victims were sitting in a car in the complex’s parking lot. A car drove up to the two victims and fired several shots at them, police said. Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have not said if there are any suspects at this time. Jeffersontown police are investigating after a man was killed and a woman was hospitalized following a shooting Tuesday night.

According to police, the shooting occurred after 8 p.m. at an apartment complex on Palmetto Circle. They said the two victims were sitting in a car in the complex’s parking lot.

According to police, a car drove toward the two victims and fired several shots at them.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not yet provided any information as to whether there are any suspects.
