Clarksville police officer “caught in good spirits”

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – The Clarksville Police Department commended one of its officers for going above and beyond to serve the community.

Officer Devin Brown was spotted by a passerby helping a boy on a hot day.

“Give props where they are due!” the Facebook post read.

The officer was seen helping a boy repair his scooter and giving him a bottle of water from his vehicle when he saw that the boy’s face was red from the heat.

“Great job, Officer Devin Brown! He helped him fix the scooter and then drove him where he wanted to go so he could cool off,” the Clarksville police officer said.

“Things like this make a big difference in a small community!” said the viewer.
