Police are still searching for a hit-and-run in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Friends and family gather to remember Kisha Jackson at the Harlem Tap Room. Jackson was attacked and killed outside the bar in the Vandeventer neighborhood on May 3.

According to St. Louis police, Jackson struck an eastbound vehicle while crossing Page against the flow of traffic. The vehicle left the scene of the accident and has not yet been identified.

“I just want the guy to turn himself in. We need closure and we need justice for my sister. She doesn’t deserve this; You know she was full of life, she loved life,” said her sister Jeanette Jackson. “It’s just very difficult, she didn’t have insurance, so we’re struggling to bury her.”

A viewing and funeral are planned for a week from today. Donations will be collected at Metro East Mortuary and the Harlem Tap Room.
