Prosecutor: Woman sexually abused in Western New York

At 1:30 a.m., the woman encountered a man at the corner of Hudson Avenue and 51st Street, Hudson County District Attorney Esther Suarez said. The woman said the man grabbed her by the hair and sexually assaulted her, Suarez said.

The Hudson County District Attorney’s Office’s Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department are investigating, authorities said.
