Police search for missing teenager last seen in East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing teenage girl who was last seen in east Bakersfield.

According to Bakersfield police, 15-year-old Emily Martinez was last seen around 1 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Monterey Street, just east of Tulare Street.

She is considered at risk because this is her first time running away from home. According to police, she is 5’7″, weighs about 230 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes, BPD said in a press release.

Martinez was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, denim shorts and black Croc shoes.
