State police investigators are investigating a robbery at a pizza delivery driver in Seaford

Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Seaford on Friday evening.

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 10:39 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 24000 block of German Road in Seaford. As part of the investigation, investigators learned that three unknown male suspects approached the victim as he was making a delivery at a house. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim, took the pizza and stole his Toyota Camry. The victim was not injured.

On May 11, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police officers saw the stolen Camry and stopped it. When they stopped, the occupants fled, but the driver was identified as an 18-year-old Asjmeir Fiorentino from Seaford, was caught a short time later. The police searched for the other inmates, but did not find them.

Fiorentino was taken to Troop 5, charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace 7 and released on his own recognizance.

  • Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500 (Felony)
  • Resisting arrest
  • Driving without a license
  • Signal error

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate this incident. Detectives ask anyone with information about this case to contact Detective W.
