City of Scottsdale – Scottsdale mourns the death of Police Detective Ryan So

Scottsdale Police Detective Ryan So died Thursday, June 13, from injuries sustained in the line of duty.

Detective So served the City of Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Police Department honorably for nine years, completing his service as a dedicated member of the Special Assignments Unit.

This is an unimaginable tragedy for both Ryan’s family and his police family at SPD. Please keep Detective So’s loved ones and colleagues in mind as they deal with this sudden loss.

Detective So, a Marine veteran, leaves behind his wife and three children.
