Hollywood agent impersonator charged with multiple sexual assaults

What’s the matter

In a shocking twist, a man named William Isaac Thomas Jr. has been charged by the Los Angeles Police Department with the alleged sexual abuse of three aspiring models.

The 49-year-old impersonator posed as a Hollywood agent and allegedly used his false industry knowledge to manipulate his victims.

The LAPD statement allegedly states that Thomas “coerced her into sexual assault” after he was hired as her agent.

Investigations revealed further victims

Per DeadlineThe investigation into Thomas began after an 18-year-old man reported being sexually assaulted at Thomas’ Hollywood Division residence on March 7, 2023.

Subsequent investigations uncovered evidence linking Thomas to sexual assaults on young men between the ages of 17 and 21.

The alleged attacks reportedly occurred between 2017 and last year.

The LAPD said on Friday (local time) that it believes Thomas is responsible for “additional unreported sexual assaults.”

The defendant was arrested and charged with several crimes

In May, Thomas was charged by prosecutors with several crimes, including sodomy, in connection with the attacks.

He was arrested and extradited from another state to Los Angeles and taken into custody on Wednesday.

LAPD Detective Brent Hopkins, who is currently being held on $1.5 million bail, said Thomas “exploited young men by promising them jobs and financial opportunities that he never delivered,” which led to the abuse.
