On Monday’s show: We get a sneak peek at a town hall discussion tonight between HISD Superintendent Mike Miles and four high school seniors affected by his new policies. Asher Lehrer-Small, which covers K-12 education Houston Landingwill moderate the discussion and he joins us to get an overview.

Event information: Doors open at 6 p.m. and City Hall starts at 7 p.m. The Conversation is a general admission, pay-what-you-can, ticketed event, with a suggested cost of $5. Tickets are available at thehobbycenter.org.

Also at this time: Adam Higginbotham, the New York Times bestselling author of Midnight in Chernobyl, discusses his book, Challenger, which offers a dramatic, minute-by-minute history of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.
