Three people arrested after robbery in Litchfield Township: Charges include attempted murder and aggravated robbery

(KNSI) – Three people have been arrested in connection with an attack that occurred last week in Litchfield Township.

On June 26, officers responded to a ditch where an Olivia man had been stabbed and hit by a car. He was flown by helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

A news release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office said 20-year-old Aryianna Pillatzki of Pennock was arrested on July 2. The next day, 48-year-old David Pillatzki of Arco and 26-year-old Tre Ertl of Litchfield were arrested. The arrests were made in Willmar and Granite Falls.

Officials say they kidnapped the victim and took her to a remote location to rob her. Pending charges include aggravated robbery and assault. Ertl is accused of attempted murder.

The investigation is ongoing. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says it is a collaboration with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Kandiyohi, Lincoln and Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Offices, the Granite Falls, Olivia, Willmar and Upper Sioux Police Departments, and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.

Sheriff Brian Cruze says he is grateful to all agencies involved.
