Man dies after being hit by car in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was killed when a car fell on him in a Phoenix neighborhood Monday afternoon.

Phoenix Fire Department officials confirmed that paramedics arrived in the area of ​​27th Avenue and Thomas Road around 12 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the man trapped under the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

It is currently unclear what the man was doing at the time of the incident, but video from the scene shows that the hood of the car was open.
