Stolen bouncy castle and water slides seized; one person arrested

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Crittenden County Sheriff’s officials saved some children’s summer by securing a trailer full of bounce houses, water slides and other inflatable toys that was stolen last week near Marion, Arkansas.

Crittenden County Crimestoppers offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the person who stole the trailer containing several inflatable boats along Bob Taylor Road north of Marion.


The sheriff’s department said a local man was arrested and charged with theft. Investigators did not disclose where they found the items but said more arrests are possible.

The investigators have not provided any information about the value of the trailer and the inflatable boats.
