Man found dead in bushes in Fresno, officials say | YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was found dead under unclear circumstances by a local resident in Fresno, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies say they were called to Herndon Avenue and Van Ness Boulevard around 3:45 p.m.

A motorist traveling in the area saw a man lying in the bushes near the intersection and immediately contacted officers to check on him.

Sheriff’s officials said when officers arrived, they found the man was already dead. It is currently unknown whether a crime was committed.

The coroner was called to determine whether the victim’s death was suspicious or due to natural causes.
