Several people shot in an incident in Peoria’s East Bluff on Monday afternoon

PEORIA, Illinois – An investigation is ongoing after a shooting Monday afternoon in Peoria’s East Bluff.

According to Peoria police, officers were called to the Arcadia area between California Avenue and Indiana Avenue shortly before 4:30 p.m. for a report of a person being shot.

They found two men with apparent gunshot wounds who were taken to a local hospital.

A third person was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, a police spokeswoman said.

The age and condition of the victims are currently unknown.
