IDENTIFIED: Man dead after being pulled from Millerton Lake | YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The man who died Sunday after being recovered from Millerton Lake has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

The coroner has identified the man as 61-year-old Steve Marquez of Fresno.


At around 5:30 p.m., rangers at Millerton Lake State Park said they were notified by individuals that a man identified as Marquez was pulled from the lake on the south shore near McKenzie Road.

According to officials, people on scene performed CPR on Marquez upon arrival before emergency responders arrived and continued their efforts. Officials said he was pronounced dead.
