Emergency crews investigate reported explosion in Mansfield – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

In Mansfield, the curfew was lifted after reports of a fire near homes emerged, officials said.

According to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters were on the scene of a fire incident in Mansfield and issued a shelter-in-place order Monday afternoon.

The curfew applied to the 5,500-block area of ​​Jessica Lane.

According to the Mansfield Fire Department, the fire was caused by a large pile of trash that threatened surrounding homes.

Rendon, Mansfield, Kennedale, Forest Hill, Crowley, Edgecliffe Village and Fort Worth fire departments all responded. There were no explosions, evacuations or injuries, according to the Mansfield Fire Department.

According to TCSO, the curfew was lifted at 2:56 p.m.

No injuries have been reported so far.
