Man arrested after shooting in Henderson, faces over 100 charges

HENDERSON (KTNV) – A man was arrested following a shooting in Henderson and faces over 100 charges.

According to police, the incident occurred Friday evening around 8:45 p.m. at The Gables Condominiums, near W. Horizon Ridge Parkway and S. Green Valley Parkway.

When investigators arrived at the scene, they found a “bleeding man who was having a drug-induced seizure, as a result of which he fired numerous shots” from his firearm.

No injuries were reported. However, several nearby homes were damaged.

Police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Joseph Ebner. He was arrested and taken to the Henderson Detention Center.

According to police, he is charged with 112 counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied building, two counts of discharging a weapon while endangering a person and one count of unlawful possession or carrying of a firearm.

According to court records, he made his first appearance over the weekend. A detention hearing was held Sunday, during which bail was set at $100,000. Ebner was also placed on high-level electronic monitoring and was prohibited from possessing firearms. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
