Florissant woman killed in accident on I-270 Sunday night

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Missouri – A 25-year-old Florissant woman died in a crash on Interstate 270 Sunday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the accident occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-270, just east of I-170.

According to the accident report, a 2020 Nissan Sentra, driven by Valerie R. Randle, veered off the right side of the highway and struck a utility pole. Emergency services pronounced Randle dead shortly before 9:50 p.m.

Highway patrol said Randle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
