According to the Horry County Coroner, a woman was found dead in a pond near a home in the Longs area

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) — The Horry County Coroner’s Office says an investigation is ongoing after a woman was found dead in a pond near her home on Saturday.

The woman was identified as Stephanie Blakely, 40. She was last seen on her security camera leaving her home near Longs around 11:30 a.m., the coroner’s office said. An autopsy is scheduled for next week.

Horry County Police are investigating the incident. News13 has reached out to police for more information.
