Filming for the 16th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta had barely begun when the drama streaming out of the set, into the media and then into the hands of lawyers. The latest legal drama on Bravo focuses on a veteran member of the reality series, Kenya Mooreand newbie Brittany Eady. Kenya allegedly showed explicit sexual photos of her new co-star to guests at an event she hosted that was filmed by the show, multiple media outlets reported. This led to accusations of “revenge porn” from Brittany, and she immediately sent her lawyers to Bravo, who then suspended Kenya pending an investigation.

Viewers of the show will not be surprised to learn that Kenya is not taking this decision lightly and has vowed to challenge it with her own legal representatives. Reality Tea reports that Kenya “has hired a team of top entertainment lawyers – who intend to fight for Kenya, even in court if necessary.”

The report states: Kenya asked all participants of its event to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and that someone leaked information from the event, thereby breaching the legal contract. For this reason, Kenya plans to sue the person or persons who breached the terms of the NDA.

Reactions to the reported incident and Kenya’s “pause” were mixed. Kenya is not known for openly welcoming “fresh blood” into the community regarding new cast members on the show over the years. One example is Kenya’s apparent hostility towards previous newcomers Kim Fieldswhich led to Kenia Kim pulling a chair away when she wanted to sit down. Another reason is her dismissive attitude towards Shamea Morton when she first joined the group as a friend.

The financial problems of the star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” continue to bother her.

Kenya has definitely had her fair share of confrontations within the group. Fireworks flew between Kenya and the recently returned housewife Porsha Williams from the beginning after Porsha mistakenly referred to Kenya as a former “Miss America” instead of Miss USA. There was also tension between Kenya and the former actress Phaedra Parksnot least because Kenya seemed to openly flirt with Phaedra’s ex-husband Apollo NidaThere was definitely no love between Kenya and OG Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leaksand even long-time friend Cynthia Bailey and Kenya seemed to have difficulties in their friendship in Season 1 of The ultimate girls trip from The Real Housewives, in which they played the main roles together.

Many fans feel that the show would be lost without Kenya and the drama she brings, but also that she may have gone a step too far with her bullying of the new housewives.
