Buffalo Bills Insider Reveals Huge Von Miller Report

Von Miller has been on the sidelines for quite some time since joining the Buffalo Bills. However, the former Denver Broncos superstar might have a little more pop in 2024.

At least that’s what one Bills reporter believes.

According to Syracuse.com reporter Matt Parrino via Heavy, the knee brace that has tormented Miller for some time has been removed.

β€œHe said he couldn’t practice last season without a knee brace, which he ditched this offseason and during OTAs. Miller still wants to play a few more seasons, and he showed some signs Tuesday β€” albeit in an unpadded practice β€” that that might be possible.

The removal of the knee brace is a positive development for Miller. The removal demonstrates that his knee is strong enough to handle the rigors of the NFL on its own. Without a knee brace, Miller should be a bit lighter than he otherwise would be. Additionally, his leg may be able to bend in a more organic and less regulated manner.

Parrino noted that Miller still wants to play a few more seasons and that being healthier increases the chances of doing that.

Von Miller continues first double-digit sack season since his 20s

At 35 years old, the passer played four seasons as he managed to win ten sacks in one season. The last time he accomplished this feat, Covid-19 was an unknown, Fortnite was still in its infancy, and the United States had a different president.

Since earning 14.5 sacks for the Denver Broncos in 2018, the passer has played half a season with the Los Angeles Rams, winning a Super Bowl. The stay with the team was short-lived, however. Prior to the 2022 season, Miller signed with the Buffalo Bills.

However, since his addition, the passer has yet to complete a full season of attendance. In 2022, he played 11 games. In 2023, he played 12 games. Although his attendance left some wanting, his stats took a hit as a direct result of his attendance issues. In 2022, he had eight sacks, but in 2023, Miller failed to record a single sack.

Perhaps more than production, Miller hopes to potentially stay to finish out his current contract. When he was signed in 2022, the passer received a jaw-dropping six-year contract on the plus side of 30. As it stands, he’s signed through the 2027 season, according to Spotrac.

If he were to finish his current contract, he would start a season at age 39. Will Von Miller play that long?
