WHAT’S NEW: Storm Watch Team meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says it’s a nice start to the work week with plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures.


WHAT’S NEXT: On Tuesday everything changes as humidity increases and temperatures rise. We are experiencing the first heatwave of the season. The heat warning begins at 12 noon on Tuesday and lasts until Thursday. Temperatures will be above 30 degrees. On Friday there will probably be showers that will cool the temperatures.


MONDAY: Sunny and warm. High 83 degrees.


TUESDAY: Hot and humid. Maximum temperature 90 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Hot and humid. Lots of sun. High 91 degrees.


THURSDAY: Hazy, hot and humid. High 92 degrees.


FRIDAY: Hot and humid. High 94 degrees.
