According to the Goffstown, NH Fire Department, one person has died after a fire

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office said one person died and another is recovering in the hospital after a fire early Monday morning. The fire occurred at around 12:18 a.m. at a home on Sonny Avenue. The fire marshal said an initial call reported smoke and two people inside the home. One person was trapped on the second floor. Firefighters entered the home, found one person and brought them outside. Attempts at resuscitation were made but were unsuccessful, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office.
