Pickup driver killed in accident on Ramsey Street Monday morning

According to Fayetteville police, the driver of a pickup truck was killed Monday morning when the pickup collided with a dump truck on Ramsey Street.

The accident occurred shortly before 7:26 a.m. in the area of ​​Stacey Weaver and College Center Drive.

The driver of the pickup truck, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The dump truck driver was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
