One person died in motorcycle accident south of Detroit Lakes

OTTER TAIL, CO. (KVRR) — A motorcycle accident in Dunn Township, south of Detroit Lakes, has claimed a life.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office learned of the accident shortly after 5 p.m.

They say the driver was wearing a helmet, jacket and gloves, but life-saving efforts at the scene were unsuccessful.

They also say that alcohol played no role in the accident.

The driver’s name, age and place of residence have not yet been disclosed.
