Kenya Moore speaks out after reports of suspension

Kenya Moore has been suspended indefinitely by Bravo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news followed an incident in which Moore “allegedly displayed posters containing explicit images of franchise newbie Brittany Eady at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, Georgia.”

However, on June 15, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star appeared to deny the report during an Instagram Live.

“I will never understand how people go to so much trouble to smear your name or ruin your business. Leave me alone. I’m a single mother. I’m out here like everyone else. I don’t get child support, I don’t get anything. I take care of my daughter by myself,” she said in the video, according to ET.

“I’m not going anywhere, despite all that comes with it… people want to write,” she later added.

Moore has been part of RHOA since the fifth season in 2012. The franchise is currently filming its 16th season.

Heavy has reached out to a representative for Moore for comment.

Kenya Moore denies any wrongdoing and Bravo is said to be investigating

Moore seems confident that she will not leave the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In addition, she denied any wrongdoing in a message posted on X.

“I would never participate in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor have I requested images from others to threaten or blackmail,” She wrote on June 8. Moore seemed to welcome any investigation and is confident that her actions will be “vindicated.”

“I’ve always felt validated. I can’t talk about STORY even when people spread fake news,” she added.

Eady also commented on the reports and suggested that she was a target of Moore.

“It’s never a good feeling to be targeted or bullied by someone who I thought would welcome me into a new circle but who I’ve never met,” she wrote in her Instagram stories, according to Queens of Bravo.

According to People magazine, the broadcaster has not yet made a statement on the alleged incident, but is conducting an investigation.

Kenya Moore stays with RHOA despite reshuffle

After season 15, there were rumors of a cast reshuffle and fans believed that all of the female cast members of “Atlanta” might be replaced.

“I’m not announcing anything, but we’re in the process and the casting is great and it’s funny because I saw the casting last week and last week I was like, ‘Okay, this is going to be great. We have a feeling,'” executive producer Andy Cohen said on the Feb. 6, 2024 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“Now that we know that Kandi (Burruss) is leaving, we can also put other pieces of the puzzle together and figure out, ‘Okay, so, you know, where are we going here?’ and she’s a big loss, but I think, you know, it allows us to plan for the future and I guess all I’m saying is I’m very excited about the cast that we have. Very,” he added.

In April, Moore announced that she would be joining season 16.

“I may be fabulous like Gone with the Wind, but I’m not going anywhere,” Moore captioned a video on Instagram.
