USA helpless in the Red Sea? Four days after the Houthi attack, the crew is rescued; one sailor still missing

The U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) conducted a daring rescue operation in the Red Sea on June 15 amid ongoing attacks by Houthi rebels. The U.S. Navy rescued 24 sailors from the Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned bulk carrier M/V Tutor, which was attacked by the Houthis on June 12. The Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group was able to airlift the crew out, but one sailor is still missing. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on June 16 that a ship 40 nautical miles south of al Mukha, Yemen, reported two explosions nearby. Watch
