Coast Guard and rescue respond to jet ski accident at Bayfront

The U.S. Coast Guard and Erie County first responders responded to a jet ski accident on the Erie waterfront.

Shortly after 4 p.m., calls first came in about an injured jet ski driver.

Rescue workers were called after a passing sailboat saw the jet ski driver apparently lying unconscious in the water and helped pull him on board.

The Erie County 911 Center said they are currently undergoing medical evaluations but are in good condition.
