The Allentown Police Department works with the Pennsylvania State Police to ensure public safety

ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) – The Allentown Police Department works with the Pennsylvania State Police to combat crime.

This weekend, for the first time, a State Police helicopter was deployed to provide aerial public safety throughout Allentown.

Officials say state police will also be patrolling the area in the evening.

In a statement, the Allentown police chief wrote, “This partnership will continue throughout the summer to improve relationships and make our community safer.”
