State police say a motorcyclist was arrested after traveling 227 km/h on I-93 in Bow

According to the New Hampshire State Police, a Belmont man was arrested Sunday morning after riding a motorcycle at speeds of up to 141 mph.

Charges of reckless conduct have been filed against 21-year-old Aaron LaFlower. LaFlower was observed from a state police aircraft flying through traffic on Interstate 93 South at speeds between 121 and 141 miles per hour.

LaFlower was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord District Court in July.

“Speeding is dangerous and costs innocent lives,” said Matthew Amatucci, Captain of the New Hampshire State Police. “State Police will continue to implement enforcement measures to improve traffic safety for all residents and visitors.”

The arrest was part of a traffic enforcement operation along I-93 in which 30 vehicles were stopped. Nineteen of those vehicles were traveling over 90 miles per hour and nine vehicles were traveling over 100 miles per hour.
