Henrico police investigate after man killed in shooting at Grand Ledge Court

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Henrico County Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting on Grand Ledge Court.

On Sunday, June 16, at around 7:30 p.m., Henrico police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4600 block of Grand Ledge Court. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man with “obvious trauma,” an initial police news release said.

A Henrico Police spokesperson later said the incident is now being ruled a homicide following the victim’s death. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
