Police investigate shooting at Circle K in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – North Charleston police responded to a shooting at a gas station Sunday afternoon.

Officials said the shooting occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at the Circle K at Rivers Avenue and I-526.

Upon their arrival, officers found a victim with a gunshot wound.

According to authorities, the victim is in stable condition and was taken to a local hospital by emergency services.

Officers are currently searching the area for the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
