15-year-old girl who was subject of AMBER alert found, DPS says

SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE: (16.06.2024, 17:38) An AMBER alert for a 15-year-old girl who went missing several days ago has been lifted.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said 15-year-old Savanna Cardenas was found on Sunday.

ORIGINAL STORY: An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen in the far north.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said 15-year-old Savanna Cardenas was last seen at 191 West Loop 1604 North around 6 a.m. Thursday.

According to authorities, Cardenas is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.

At the location where Cardenas was last seen, she was with an unidentified 45-year-old woman with blonde hair, authorities said.

DPS believes a silver Ford Fusion may be connected to Cardenas’ disappearance.

According to DPS, Cardenas is believed to be in immediate danger.
