Pine Bluff police investigating Sunday morning shooting that left 1 dead and 3 injured

PINE BLUFF, Arkansas – Police in Pine Bluff are investigating after a shooting left one person dead and three others injured Sunday morning.

Pine Bluff police officials said officers responded to a call reporting shots fired at Saracen Landing shortly after midnight.


Police said four shooting victims arrived at Jefferson Regional Medical Center shortly after the 911 call.

According to authorities, three of the victims did not appear to suffer life-threatening injuries, but one of the victims, 20-year-old Corey Berrien, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

PBPD officials said the shooting remains under investigation and there is no information about the suspect to be released at this time.
