Rescue workers called to “light aircraft incident” near Norfolk Airport

Emergency services were called to a “light aircraft incident” near an airfield in Norfolk.

Firefighters were called to the scene of the fire, off Pristow Green Lane near Tibenham Airfield, at 1.45pm this afternoon (Sunday 16 June).

Fire engines from Diss, Attleborough and Wymondham attended to the injured and handed the incident over to the emergency services.

The stop message was received at 14:14.

It is unclear what nature of the incident was.
