Person killed in car crash on Connector Road in Santa Clarita

According to authorities, one person was killed in a car crash on a freeway in Santa Clarita on Sunday morning.

The crash, involving a black Nissan sedan, occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on the connector road from the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway to the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At 2:41 a.m. a signal was issued closing all four lanes of the connecting road for at least four hours.
