Man claims security personnel attacked him during Drake concert

A man is suing Crypto.com Arena and its parent company Anschutz Entertainment Group Inc. over injuries he sustained during a 2023 Drake concert after he was allegedly attacked by security guards.

Mathew Nexus Miranda’s lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court accuses him of assault, negligence and negligent hiring, supervision or confinement. He is also suing the as-yet-unidentified security company hired for the event.

Miranda is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages. His complaint states that his lawyers’ investigation into the incident is “ongoing and ongoing.”
