Sensitive groups include people with lung diseases such as asthma, older adults, children and adolescents, and people who spend a lot of time outdoors.

Sensitive groups:

Make outdoor activities shorter and less strenuous. Take more breaks. Watch for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath. Plan outdoor activities for the morning when ozone levels are lower. Asthmatics: Follow your asthma action plan and have fast-acting medications on hand.

Everyone else: Remember to keep your outdoor activities shorter and less intense.

The Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency (a division of the Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services) has issued an air quality alert for Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky.
