WATCH: Israeli police release task force that rescues Noa Argamani from captivity

The Israeli police have released a video showing their elite Yamam unit freeing hostage Noa Argamani.

When Israeli forces entered the houses where Argamani and the other hostages were being held, they operated under heavy fire.

“Noa, everything is fine, we are taking you home,” an Israeli agent told Argamani after they rescued her. In the video, one of the agents can be seen lifting her onto his back. “We are very happy that you are here and we are proud of you.”

The details of “Operation Arnon”

Noa Argamani was one of the four hostages rescued in the so-called “Operation Arnon.” The operation was carried out by Yamam, Shin Bet and Israeli soldiers.

This is the second video of the rescue mission “Operation Arnon”. The first, also released by the Israeli police, shows elite Yamam agents raiding a residential building in Nuseirat and rescuing Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv.

Argamani’s rescue took place separately from the rescue of the other three hostages because she was held captive in an apartment about 200 meters away.

The name “Operation Arnon” comes from the chief inspector of the anti-terrorist unit, Arnon Zamora, who was the only victim of the operation. Zamora was buried on Mount Herzl.
