Teenager sexually assaulted at knifepoint in New York park

A man has attacked a 13-year-old girl in a park in New York City. The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, in Kissena Park in Queens. The man, described as Hispanic, approached the girl and her boyfriend, a 13-year-old boy, with a knife and forced them to follow him into the woods. He then tied their hands and sexually assaulted the girl.

After the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene, leaving the teenagers tied up. The victims managed to free themselves and seek help at a nearby school, where they called 911. Their condition was stable and they were taken to the hospital.

The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect, who is believed to be in his 20s, about 5’5″ tall, with curly hair, red sneakers, and a green backpack. He also had braces on his teeth and a tattoo of a boar or bull with red eyes on his chest.

Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
