Hispanic man rapes teenager in broad daylight in NYC park

A man entered a public park in New York City in broad daylight and “violently” raped a 13-year-old girl, police said.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported that a 13-year-old girl and her boyfriend, a 13-year-old boy, were in Kissena Park in Queens, New York, at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13.

Authorities said the young teenagers were approached by a man of Hispanic descent who showed them a knife and demanded that they follow him into the woods.

In a secluded area of ​​the park, the suspect took the teenagers’ cell phones and tied their wrists with a shoelace.

Police said the suspect sexually abused the girl “violently” after the children were helplessly tied up.

After raping the young girl, the suspect disappeared from the park.

The teens managed to free themselves, run to the school across the street and then call 911.

They were taken to hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD has offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information about the rape incident.

Description of the suspect

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, approximately 5’5″ tall, with curly hair, who was last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack.

He appeared to be wearing braces and had a wild boar or bull with red eyes tattooed on his chest.
