Toddler killed by car driver at Dockweiller State Beach

LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian, possibly a child, was killed this evening when he was struck by a vehicle in the Dockweiler State Beach area.

According to Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal crash was reported at 5:47 p.m. Saturday in the 12200 block of Vista del Mar.

I had no description of the victim or any details about the crash.

KFI reported on X that according to its sources, the victim is believed to be a two-year-old girl and was accidentally run over by a parent.

An investigation was underway.
